And look! It has grown beautiful frills! It must be close to maturing.

adult: Oracle Wyrms find solace in quiet, secluded areas with mist or fog, such as swamps, oceans, and in the valleys between mountains. In this environment, they enjoy hiding, spying, and contemplating deeply. Oracle Wyrms prefer to live in solitude away from other dragons. However, when they cross paths with one, these wyrms move their floating whiskers to enhance communication, often boasting the intricate riddles they’ve come up with. Their solitary nature has led to the belief that spotting one is a terrible omen and will bring misfortune. Despite this, these wyrms do not bring any harm or misfortune, but merely observe humans as well as animals, livestock, insects and whatever else they can find. They particularly enjoy observing small villages, occasionally inciting harmless mischief.

And look! It has grown patterned plate scales along its back! It must be close to maturing.

adult: Temple Wyrms are a calm, docile, and rather amiable breed. They are quite reclusive, and rarely seen, but when encountered, will often guide travelers through their territory safely, or even advise them to the best of their ability. They tend to take up residence in ruins of old human settlements, particularly temples, and this is where the name comes from: explorers discovering an old abandoned temple, and being surprised by the wyrm living there. They’re very intelligent, and their two heads work well together. Temple Wyrms are skilled with light magic, and decorate their homes with glowing motes of light to keep them illuminated at all times. These dragons have a very dangerous neurotoxic venom, but are so calm that they’re disinclined to bite except in self-defense.
