Typically they are ambush predators, submerging themselves in murky waters among the reeds or beneath the mud and will launch themselves armed with a poisonous attack when suitable prey comes along. It’s not uncommon for one to barter for meat instead by using treasures stolen from other dragons or their hoards, and though they tend to be solitary the promise of riches and fine meats can easily sway a Hooded Murkling into joining up with others to lend a “helpful” claw. In addition to normal healing powers, these dragons can tap into the energies of the soular plane using a circular glyph for especially powerful healing and strengthening magics. When the glyph is summoned, their tail tips and wings flair out, and their fur billows and bristles from the ambient energy as if a gust is blowing around them. This exceptional power takes much time and effort to learn, training beginning from a young age and mastery considered to be a mark of true adulthood. adult: Fanalea Dragons are rarely seen. They move gracefully between the trees, and eat mainly fruits and seeds, though they do hunt meat during mating season and are excellent at tracking their prey over long distances. These dragons watch over their territories, and have incredible eyesight that allows them to spot threats from afar. Their unique defensive mechanism consists of the arrowlike barbed quills that grow on their tails, and the symbiotic, highly elastic vines they cultivate on their lower back and between their wingtips. By stretching the vine taut and hooking a single quill’s barb over it, then drawing it back, Fanaleas can shoot their quills like arrows over a considerable distance. The vines typically don’t hamper gliding or slow flight, and if the dragon needs to take off quickly, they can snap the vines and cultivate them back later. While usually secretive and somewhat aloof, Fanalea Dragons cannot stand injustice and suffering, and will venture out of their territory to assist others when they are truly needed. Their friendship and loyalty is hard to earn, but unbreakable.

Pyrrhichios Dragons have long established an aptitude for percussive music due to an innate sense of rhythmic timing. A Pyrrhichios may use either the bony mallet at the tip of its tail or powerful stomps of its hind feet to drum intricate beats on hollowed out objects like logs or stones, all while shaking their brightly colored plumage. These dances are performed for various reasons, such as courtship, territorial or threat displays, war dances, celebrations, and community bonding. The war dance of a Pyrrhichios is especially impressive to witness, as these charismatic and physically expressive dragons use their talents to inspire each other prior to combat with leaping feats, intense drumming, and vigorous body movements. They are often found in family groups of twenty or more individuals called a "band," and these bands may either combine with others or split into smaller bands on a whim. They are fond of filling their lair with complex traps and dead ends, spreading just enough tempting wealth throughout to lure others deeper and deeper into its dark depths. Their cruel cunning manifests in the form of mana traps, utilizing death mana to create highly corrosive effects that inflict more damage the longer a creature is in contact with it, with one head utilizing life mana to keep the creature alive as long as it pleases. Occasionally, a Scourgekeeper Dragon’s other head will use its time mana to send someone back to the entrance should they get too close to the actual treasure hoard—allowing just enough survivors to escape from their lair for rumors to spread of the wealth and danger that lurks in their burrows. Though they rarely leave their lairs, they have been known to venture forth and decimate nearby settlements, seeking food and riches to add to their hoards. A Scourgekeeper’s ruthless attacks are the stuff of legends; it is said that they themselves are the shadowed manifestation of rage, fear, and despair, and thus attracts many groups of heroes to seek glory and fame by putting an end to their evil.Локация: ---
